Reflexology

Reflexology is a holistic non - invasive technique that uses the feet as a microcosm or mini-map of the body.  Application of pressure on specific reflex areas on the feet or hands corresponds to our organs, tissues, glands and body parts. Reflexology is best known for its ability to reduce stress, improve circulation, and restore balance. It supports detoxification and improves nerve and blood supply.  We have thousands of nerve endings in the feet, approximately 7,200. The goal of Reflexology is to support the body in returning to a state of homeostasis or balance.  The Zollinger Body Systems Method of Reflexology is a unique approach to this holistic modality as it breaks the session into the various systems of the body.  Each session works the Skeletal, Nervous, Lymphatic, Respiratory, Digestive, Urinary, Endocrine, and Reproductive Systems, as well as the over all Energetic System of the body. This method focuses not only on the physical issues, but also the mind-body-emotional-soul components of an imbalance as well.  Clients often describe that they feel as if they have been given a full body massage once the session is over. Continual Reflexology sessions are proven to help back pain, migraines, asthma, infertility, sleep disorders, hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders and stress related conditions, just to name a few.

My intention with offering Reflexology is to support each individual client taking into consideration the physical, emotional, and spiritual well being of the person. Sessions usually last between 60 minutes and 90 minutes. The option to use medicinal grade Essential Oils is available depending on the client’s request.  Applying essential essences to the feet is a safe and effective route to bring the medicinal characteristic of the plant and trees to the specific area of the body that is in need of support.

I am taking a sabbatical from Reflexology Sessions, contact me if you need assistance finding a practitioner.
